Blossom Apologies
I am sorry to have to repeat myself with yet another cherry blossom blip, but it was impossible to resist as we walked through the Meadows this morning on our way to buy buttons in Bruntsfield.
Everything sparkled in the sunshine, the sky was blue, tree shadows criss crossed the grass which seemed brighter than usual, new unfurling leaves fluttered pale green in the breeze and everywhere one looked there was the froth of pink blossom.
Talking of buttons, why is it that when I finds the right buttons, there are not enough of them, and I have to make do with others? That is a rhetorical question.
I am sure that Ewan who will be sporting the said buttons will not care a jot that they are not the wooden ones Grandma wanted for his new cardigan.
