Mono-Monday: The Fire Chief

As I have mentioned, I have been scanning photos for a slide show for #3 son’s wedding rehearsal dinner on Friday night.  It has been a labor of love and a very sentimental journey, looking at so many pictures of him when he was a baby, toddler and boy.  

This is our groom at just under 2 years of age with his fire hat and fire engine console.  If I recall correctly, that toy had a siren and lights on it that ultimately drove us crazy.  The original of this image was a color slide.  He had an acute case of runny nose and his upper lip and nose were pretty encrusted with “leakage" (trying to find a nice way to put it). It was a picture that only parents could love.  I decided that it probably wasn’t good viewing for people having dinner, or those here on blip, so thank you photoshop for allowing me to spare everyone those yucky details.  And thank you notowennewitt for superb hosting of the mono-monday challenge.
