Plans

My mum is 92 and lives in the same road as me. She is beginning to feel uncomfortable about living alone. Chris and Penny have now left home for good and our house is too big for Geoff and me. So, what to do? Do we try to extend Mum's house to accommodate the 3 of us? Or adjust our house to accommodate the 3 of us? Or do nothing? Or (not a runner), lease mum where she is an Geoff and I move somewhere else? We met with an architect this evening to run though some possibilities. he is going to give it some thought and get back to us. The trouble is that none of the possible solutions is ideal. And all involve change.......
