Northern California

So pretty driving south out of Alturas. Without knowing much about it, the place looked economically healthy; the drought wasn't so apparent here. I'm thinking the California drought is serious and real, but mostly because there are so very many people and the great agricultural valley is used so intensely. We are using so much water and heating up the planet to boot; If only there wasn't so  much for the water to do, this place could weather the drought more easily. OK, enough.
