View from the Tent

We arrived at Eric's niece's house in Bird Rock pretty late. The girls rushed outside to peek into the wonderful, big tent where we slept on a real mattress. It's a 2-room tent that will be my bedroom for the week. It's set up in their amazingly private backyard. But like all great tents these days, much of the walls are simply mesh. Great way to watch the stars at night - and looks like looking into it is fun, too. The sweetie pies are 4 and 2 and all mine for the week - during the day at least. Same drill we've been doing for the past four years. I expect to have fun and to be exhausted; just enough of everything.
