Later: I've cracked it. My error was trying to add an extra shot on the ipad and not the laptop where the photos were stored - elementary dear Watson!
This blasted oak (extra photo) was seen on the first leg of The Liberty Trail which we four WI members trod this morning. The trail connects the heartland of South Somerset's cloth-making industry with Lyme Regis whose ships sailed south to France and Spain. Men walked this route in 1685 to join The Duke of Monmouth who was expected to lead a rebellion against the King.
The trail is 28 miles long - we four women made it to the first pub after three and a half miles! It served excellent Burrow Hill Cider.
