Building sea defences....again!

A lovely sunny, brisk day in Deal today. I took a wander up to the beach in the afternoon. There are diggers and dumper trucks and all sorts of things up there just now. They are moving pebbles from one side of the beach to the other to build the sea defences. They did this last year but the storms washed it all away. It seems a bit like shovelling smoke, if you ask me ;)
