Asparagus Time

It's that time of the year when English asparagus is lifted from the fields. We are fortunate enough in Suffolk to simply have to drive down the road and there is plenty available direct from the grower.

It's one of those things that we only very occasionally but out of season. Nothing can beat the flavour of the freshly lifted asparagus
