Impression of tulips

A lovely day today down in London at the exhibition at Somerset House of the Sony World Photography Awards.  A lot of the photos were 'challenging', but certainly made you think.  I loved the special exhibition celebrating Elliott Erwitt's outstanding contribution to photography - absolutely brilliant.  I must get a book on his work.

I didn't have my 'proper camera' with me, just my compact, so I thought I'd post something a bit different.  I was trying to create an almost impressionist view of some lovely tulips in Victoria Embankment Gardens.  Not sure if it worked, but I enjoyed experimenting!
