Woodland Walk

Having had Baxter, our podenco, disappear for three hours yesterday on his morning walk, I decided to ensure he was firmly tethered to a lead for the duration of this morning's walk. I chose to walk round the woods in John Muir Country Park for a bit of a change. It was a bright sunny day if a little bit chilly with the sunlight dappled through the fir trees. I have chosen to use this image of one of the many walks through the forest as it has an almost complete shadow of a tree as a lead in and it does not, like most of my pictures, have Baxter and his long red extending lead intruding into the picture space as he was exploring to the side when I took this picture.
