Taking the plunge...

Refreshing start to the day with frosty grass and icy puddles! Sunny but cold mostly with sleety/snowy showers. Brrrr!

Thank you for all the helpful comments on yesterday's nest and eggs blip, some say Dunnock and others Robin, more on the Dunnock side. Mum/dad has returned to the nest as sounds and movement in hedge but difficult to see what kind of bird from a distance. If anything it looked more the colouring of a blackbird or starling! Will have to wait quietly and watch.
