The big (party) day

So, after yesterday's excitement and having a lovely day to ourselves, today was more excitement, family lunch and a big party.

These are some of the 138 scones that we made for the party. Most of them got eaten!

I suppose it's a measure of how much of a good time we had that I really don't have any good photos of the party itself. Suffice to say it was great, and I'm sorry I didn't get to spend more time with my lovely wife or so many of our fabulous family and friends.
