Kayaking

I've been learning to kayak recently, on and off, so when we heard that the sheltered archipelagos on the west coast of Sweden were perfect for sea-kayaking we had to give it a go! It took us a while to find a kayak rental place that was a) open, b) willing to hire us kayaks without drysuits when the water was so cold, and c) willing to let us navigate on our own... we may have over-stated our experience a little bit.

Now I've navigated around mountains many times, but in the open sea with currents, rocky islands that all look the same to me and no idea of our pace it was a bit more difficult! But we made it back in one piece and had a fantastic day. Cold, wet, aching, but happy :)
