A better day than yesterday, snow's gone, and there was a bit of sun.

Been doing the DC's accounts, end of year tax, P60, that sort of stuff. The HMRC software is OK, but not that user friendly. To do a P60, you'd think you click the button that says P60. Well after much fuddling around, it doesn't. SO you go to the online help files. Then you get that "light bulb" moment. The P60 is for the end of "last years" years P60, and I need to create a new "Tax year".

Turns out that the software has been updated for 2015-16 , and I have to download it, re-install it, before I can progress.

Once done, the job was easy. Why can't there be a "Download next years version" button. I only do this once a year, and for one employee, and I'm expected to remember from year to year?..

Did a small harvest for the hotel, and G delivered it on her way to Pilates. I had the opportunity to go for a drink too, but didn't feel that good, so had a kip on the settee instead..
