Eastern Bluebirds... Doing *It*
A female Eastern Bluebird flew into a tree closely followed by her mate. They did the deed in a nano second, sat there together for a few moments, and then he was off.
In the extra photo - a Tufted Titmouse that was banded today. Some of the birds we caught in the mist nets had already been banded back a few years ago! So good to know that they are making it to South America (in many cases) and back again for several years at least!
Had a great day today - Day One of the New River Birding & Nature Festival. Up tomorrow at 5:00AM to start our birding day. No time for looking at your blips or commenting or anything, but I'm thinking about you!
