share plate

we went old school tonight at Josie's place - bring a plate.  But sometimes it's important to explain the concept is to actually bring food to share - & not just the empty plate you want to eat from.... just saying is all.
Josie's place is a fabulous mix of old & new - the church pew, the old rectory floorboards, the sandblasted brick walls of the old factory building she now resides.

Drinks, laughs & catching up.  It's what I do a lot of when i visit out this way.

Before getting to dinner though, it was a very busy day putting into place last minute trades, making decisions & minor repairs in between sorting, tossing out & reorganising the place i used to call home.  
It still feels like home - especially when the sun does glorious things like shine warmly all day.

A small hiccup with flooring (they pulled apart my bed).  Early start tomorrow for ANZAC & starting the drive home
