Holyrood Church, Southampton
This anchor is in the ruins of the Holyrood Church in Southampton. There has been a church on the site since 1320 but in November 1940 the church was bombed. It was not restored at that point, and has no roof at all but it serves as a memorial to merchant seaman who lost their lives in the last war. I'm not sure which ship the anchor is from.
