Coastal path

This is my favourite walk. Another glorious day and I set off about eleven.

This section is looking back towards Funchal on a rather steep slope where I pause from time to time to take photos (you know the technique).

About 3km along you arrive at my favourite restaurant, the Doca Do Cavacas and I got there at one. Well, I had to stop there for some marvellous fish and a delicious white wine (Monte Velho).
On impulse, or fuelled with enthusiasm, I decided to continue the walk as far as Camara de Lobos.
It was hot but magical.
I caught the bus back.
