Tormentil

The Tormentil is now in full bloom amongst the rocks and crags, adding splashes of colour. My trusty guide to Alpine Flowers tells me that the plant grows to about 2500 meters above sealevel which is only a few hundred meters higherthan us, so we must be close to the limit of its range.
