Battling through the tourists

Popped down to Haymarket at lunchtime today to buy some theatre tickets and I literally had to fight my way through hordes of tourists around Piccadilly Circus station on the way back.

I've never quite understood the attraction at Piccadilly Circus. It all seems so cliched, with all the souvenir shops selling Union Jacks, red telephone boxes and Beefeaters, but I suppose it's the same in any big city.
