Steps of Hebden Bridge

Visitors to Hebden Bridge are always struck by the steepness of it all.  Everything is uphill or downhill.  All around the town there are steps and ginnels hidden away. I always wonder how many boots and clogs have worn away the steps and the cobbles over the years.
