Blossom shaded door

This time last year, the blossom was properly out.

It's a few days behind this year, and I would swear that there isn't quite as much of it as last year. Elsewhere, the garden is looking really good, with new plants and excellent TLC lavished on it by my colleagues. I tried to get an angle on this as I left the office today, but didn't manage it. So you're stuck with a picture of the tree in the centre of the courtyard taken out of my office window.

A Tuesday sort of day, with our usual lunch, and this morning a visitor from Brussels. I have been fairly pooped all day - a result of yesterday evening's exertions, I guess.
