Another wet evening

Typically it started to rain just before I left work, but as both Inca & I needed a walk, I went to The Argory with waterproofs on anyway. There were no other cars in the car park, so I was hopeful that I might see a kingfisher. In the distance, I saw something flying low across the river to the far riverbank, when we got up to where I thought it might be, I looked across & noticed a tiny speck of turquoise, I waited for a few minutes & it dived down & back up to a lower perch, catch in its beak & then it flew on down the river. As always it is a delight to see it & worth getting soaked  again.
