Strange Goings on in Lauder

My commute to and from work takes me through the historic village of Lauder. There are lots of events in the village and the neighbouring Thirlestane Castle throughout the year. Last night as I entered the village I saw what appeared to be a tableau made of scarecrows celebrating the Jubilee. Interesting but then I spotted another fifty metres on and the another. The whole village has a variety of themed scarecrows scattered along the main road in all kinds of scenarios. This is the last one & favourite which I stopped to snap on my way home this morning.
