Campinos

Had a big stroke of luck today. I bought my first DSLR, a Pentax K-50 a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I took my wife's tablet into the local FNAC store for repair and just as I was leaving I happened to notice a Pentax K-500, which is almost the same as the K-50, bar water and dust sealing, for the clearance price of 199 euros. That's about £145.00, complete with 18-55mm kit lens. I phoned the store this morning and asked them to put it aside and then rushed to pick it up this evening. It turned out that it was the only one.

So my daughter who is at art college is going to have a very pleasant surprise. She won't now be asking to borrow mine and as we learn about our new cameras we'll be able to share tips ... and lenses.
