What Sunday Brings

We were up fairly early for a Sunday.  I was feeling a bit grouchy that I didn't get to sleep in at all this weekend, but quickly decided to just make the best of it and get things done.  The girls kept themselves busy making a fort in Sugar's room.  I tried not to think about the mess it was making of her newly organized room.  

I made pancakes with berries and whipped cream.  It is Sugar's favorite, and she was happy to share it with her friend.  

While I washed our pickup truck, the girls made themselves some Mac and Cheese for lunch.  I was called in to do the straining.  I'm still not ready for my girl to pour boiling water.  They were happy with their dish.  Soon "L's" dad was here to pick her up.  Sugar was sad to see her go.

Next it was homework for the Sugar, and some hangin' out with me and chatting.  Love quiet chats with my girl.  

We wrapped up the night with a shower, and some dinner.  The weekend went by way too fast.
