Cheese

Gosh it rained. It was the full Biblical stuff rather the a shower. In the afternoon I went out to the airport to meet Phil and Paul and, at George's suggestion, we tried the beer brewed there. It was jolly good. The back to the hotel and out for some sightseeing before more beer. Bayern were playing so town was jumping; both sets of fans mingling in the bierhalle together, and when the went to the game we found a corner in the Augustiner Ausshank and checked out the bier, brez'n and obstler. As always my German improved with beer and I had a chat with the waitress about the football - not a good night for Bayern. Like Manchester there are two teams here; Bayern play in red and have fans around the world while 1860 play in sky blue....... I'm not overly worried about Bayern missing 4 penalties.

The sun is out this morning so we'll grab some culture and, perhaps, a bier or two
