Bamboo......

......knitting needles.....thought I'd give them a try.....mind you, it's years since I knitted anything, the only time my original (an eclectic mix of metal and plastic) needles have been used in the last decade has been for unblocking drains, scratching my back and fishing small things out of inaccessible places.....not all of them survived the journey......
