Whare Raranga

A quick blip tonight before heading to bed after a very full day. Heather and I took a leisurely drive to Tauranga this morning and stopped at Maketu, a small coastal settlement. Loved this old house, whare is "house" in maori..so this painted house must have belonged to the Raranga family.

Great evening catching up with lots of old friends from around NZ..its going to be a wonderful few days.
