Cake-goodness

Yum! I managed to bake a cake yesterday (something I don't do often) a lemon drizzle sponge with a layer of lemon curd in the middle. I must have used about six lemons in the thing! Anyhow it doesn't look that spectacular in the photo but it tasted great! The most satisfying thing was that my guests were happy and well fed when they left. It was wonderful getting caught up with each others lives, time definitely well spent.
