Today's weather was almost a complete opposite to yesterday evening in Joensuu. We got slush, rain and - yes - snow. In the evening I took a train to my parents' place in Puhos, 70 km south of Joensuu and there isn't a sign of new snow here, but the forecast said Joensuu might get 10 cm ( 4 inches) of snow. I doubt the new snow is going to last very long as the temperature has been above freezing, but the arrival of genuine seems to have taken a couple of steps back just as it really seemed to be arriving.
