Did someone say Spring?

Winter returned with a vengeance on Monday! The BBC reported on snow in the Highlands on Sunday, but I hadn't expected it to come to much in the Central Belt. How wrong I was!

It snowed for a bit in the afternoon - enough to get us all a little excited - and then turned to sleet and rain. But not long afterwards it snowed again a little more heavily. Not enough to lie on the roads, but enough to provide some unseasonal photographs - certainly up in the high-lying places around Slamannan, near where this photo was taken.
