Tingwall

Took a friend to Tingwall to see Betty's Reading Room today, as she'd never been there before.  This rather fine looking duck house and weather forecasting stone wall were outside!  We had  a great time exploring all the books and looking round then headed over to Dounby for lunch.  

On the way home we called in at The Woolshed to luxuriate in all things woolly, fleeces, felted, woven and knitted bits and pieces and wools in every weight and colour and have a good chat with the irrepressible Denise!  

Even though it may be a while before I'm knitting again, I still bought a hank of wonderful multicoloured Shetland wool . . . !  A really good day out.
