I have no words.....

we left Hanmer this morning to drive the 2 hours to Kaikoura.
So. 4 hours later, we arrived! What a stunning drive. Poor Driver was so patient - there were so many "stop the car" moments! Snow, mountains,green pastures, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens. You name it!! I'm knackered.
Anyhoo, we get to Kaikoura, check in to our pretty flash unit (views over the water!) and then head off to the fur seal colony. How wonderful - this seal I named Nigel (no friends) as each seal he approached growled at him and he looked so sad......
We thought we would be spending the night there as 3 pups took up residence under our car and would not be moved!!
They were finally coaxed out by a couple of guys teasing them with sticks as you would do with a kitten!! So cute!!
