One of my Favorite Musicals to be in!

The banner clearly and obviously says "Putnam" on it, and it may just seem like a random name or word, but it kind of means more to me. This name was just part of the huge banner we had made for "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee", a musical about a group of middle school kids all competing to win first place in a spelling bee, while discovering new things about themselves along the way.  I was lucky enough to play the nerd Logainne SchwartzandGrubenierre, who has a lisp, two overbearing gay fathers, and has her heart set on not only winning the bee, but winning the presidential election and becoming president as well.  I was very nervous to play as her part because I was afraid it wasn't the right part for me, but it turned out being the perfect one for me! She had such a quirky personality that I had already posessed, and I kind of think of it as I transferred myself into Logainne for that whole show: I taught myself how she would act, what she would say in other types of situations, things like that.  I made her into my own character, it seemed like.  So you can imagine I was kind of dissapointed when the show ended.  In fact, it's been more than a year, and I still am. But, as they say in show business, "The show must go on," and so must life.  So I kept this part of the banner so I could look back on my memories and relive them with every glance.
