Tha Khao pier
We decided to take a "trip round the island by tuk-tuk" today. Only when the vehicle turned up, it wasn't a tuk-tuk but a pick up.
But the driver was pretty good, and drove slowly, pointed out a number of points of interest, and stopped in several places for us to have a walk.
The first was Tha Khao pier, where we saw what will probably be our only hornbills! But we also stopped at Tha Thondo to admire the mangroves, and in the village, to buy souvenirs and gifts.
On returning, we found our clean towels cleverly twisted and folded into the shape of an animal - a rabbit?.
We later had another lovely meal at the restaurant, though our feeling was that we didn't make quite such a good selection as yesterday's choices.
