Spring

I've become Woman-With-a-Shopping-Trolley, in a bid to stop myself carrying too much on my back.
I have to plan the route as a damage limitation with foot- pain. But equipped with Camera, Swan food & decent light I can thoroughly enjoy the city.
This view is of the Castle from Castle Meadow ( bus station ). Several friendly folk made encouraging noises as I waited for the light that came & went.
An Egyptian goose has clocked my swan feeding and provoke a fierce territory display from the male as it came too close to to the nest.
I'm surprised the female doesn't apparently startle as handfuls of corn rain down. She just gobbles it up. The Plastic bags built into the nest make handy catchdment
