Blackbird Chick

A grey and damp start this morning but the sun soon came out, the cold wind has gone and we had a nice sunny day.

Busy in the garden planting out some flowers when I spotted a young blackbird on the wall next to me. Crept into the house for the camera and managed to get a very poor photo of it - the parents were flying around hysterical. This is the first one I've seen this year, it will have to take care because the bird of prey was in the garden again last night ...
