Look Around

I had my eye on a wood a couple of miles up the road which has lots of subtly different greens and nicely shaped trees in it, and a curving path leading the eye in and all that stuff that's supposed to make for good photos, but when I drew in to the gateway to take pictures I discovered a huge steaming pile of manure had been dumped in the way. So that scuppered that plan.
Then I realised the gate I was leaning on was quite a work of art in its own right.
It's surprising what you notice when you look around you.
