The Rigbye Arms
After a busy week's education, I needed some exercise today. It was a splendid 8 mile walk in the rolling hills of West lancashire, just East of Parbold. More photos can be seen here.
But the highlight was a pint of Timothy Taylor's "Landlord" at the Rigbye Arms. This splendid old sign lured me in.
I was followed for over a mile by a very slender, elderly greyhound. However, he saw a pheasant in a field and decided that chasing it would be more entertaining than trudging along after me.
I also had cause to regret not packing my macro lens. When photographing a flower look what reversed out.
