Bluebell wood

There were bluebells as far as we could see in the woods this afternoon. It was quite beautiful. We walked for about an hour and a half and only saw another person almost as we reached the car. We startled several deer, and squirrels and also saw woodpeckers and many little woodland birds. 
I've normally only been to that wood at the weekend, and some people drive miles to get there, so there can be a lot of folk about then. Today it was lovely having it to ourselves.
