Sparkling

Took H down to Blackford Pond before lunch for a wee walk. She was silent the whole time, just watching the birds and passersby intently. Occasionally and arm went up when something caught her eye, but for the most part she just stared. Think the best bit was the quacking ducks that sat right next to us on the bank. She couldn't see the nesting swans.

The afternoon trip out for cakes was abandoned however when she fell asleep just as we got to our destination. I didn't bother going in - saved my money and waistline.
