Still in bed at 12.10

My old neighbours didn't know what hit them today when I turned up and burst into tears.
The hosp rang to make sure that I was coming in as they wanted to talk to me.
Pops hadn't got any worse but they have signed a DNR.
I do understand why but it's still so hard to hear.
I stayed with him all day today holding his hand and telling him I love him.
Life is cruel.

The doc who spoke to me today was human.
