Cinema
You used to go to the cinema and pay the first guy for your ticket (while his friend was serving someone else), then go and buy your popcorn from one stand from a line of several sales people, or you might go for ice cream where someone else was working, then hand your ticket to one of two people checking tickets, then go in to the cinema and hide your Tesco-bought drink and sweets from the usher who was prowling nearby.
Now, there are three people selling tickets, selling popcorn and selling ice cream at the same stand, no one checks your tickets, and you can do whatever the heck you like once you're inside.
I'm all for multi-skilling, but have prices come down with the drop in overheads? Aye right.
Second rant - to the woman at the front - you must have plenty of cash if you can afford these prices just to sit listening to your gurney child and browsing Facebook throughout the film.
