From mighty conker trees ...

I actually went out to a local (ish) woods to take some more pictures of bluebells this evening but thought this was more interesting (although I do love the bluebells).

This huge tree (you might think that a bus is big but its nothing compared with the size of this tree) had no other leaves lower than head height but had thrown out this tiny twig at the base with new life. Probably a bit dull but it struck me as fantastic.

(Disclaimer: It could easily not be a Horse Chestnut - I;m not good with trees)
