My Mother, My Best Friend

Today I took my mother shopping and out to lunch. I usually power shop not spending much time in stores and quickly walking from place to place.  Today I needed to take a much slower pace with my 89 year old Mother. We enjoyed the day together and had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.  My Mom and I both had great restraint and passed on having a slice of cheesecake for dessert.  But my sweet Mom bought a slice for my Dad to take home for him.  Not only is she a great mom and friend, she is a wonderful wife.  I am very blessed to live close to my Mom and have a wonderful relationship with her.  I love you Mom!
