New glasses
While I was sat at home writing up some stuff for work today Roz and Maddy nipped into town. One of the things on their to do list was to pick up Maddys glasses. Thankfully, unlike me, she only has to wear them occasionally for things like reading and working on the computer.
These aren't the ones she wanted she wanted thick acrylic frames but she ordered them at the same time I ordered mine. After the date for their arrival being put back for a third time the woman at the opticians suggested she order a spare pair in the meantime sio she had something while waiting for her proper ones. These are the spares, I'll blip the others when they finally arrive.
Thankfully Maddy let me take this shot as the only other one I had was of our neighbour across the street's window. The guy who lives there has been at the door at eight am on a Sunday morning shouting at Roz because guests had parked in a space that he claimed was his private space.
Given that there are no signs stating it's private parking and he'd never bothered to inform us of his supposed claim to the space in a civil manner we were understandably irate. To add to this recently we have noticed that he has what appears to be a CCTV camera in his window. If it were pointing at his claimed parking spca it would be one thing but it appears not to be and instead appears to be pointing at the street in general. Given that my daughter and her friends play out there regularly I decided to get photos of the camera so I could make enquiories as to whether he waslegally allowed to film the street.
