Both of my wife's schools entered the 'queen scarecrow' competition at the local Garden Centre.

The one school got a 2nd for the queen but the other school queen, blipped last week , was unplaced but the corgi came 4th - unfortunately the centre put the 4 prize winners together and the queen, in her not so obviously queen clothes, was dog less and didn't look quite right.

Just cooked tuna pie for tea and thinking of what to get for the street party on Monday - I fancy a few pints of Pimms with jam sandwiches - this could put me in the mood for the knobbly knee contest.
