Finlay Resting

We had a visit from our daughter and granddaughter today - so we went out for lunch (again!).

We went to Monk's Cross at York and wandered around the shops a while. I finished up buying some cheap vinyl soft balls for the dogs to play with. They love chasing them up and down the garden - and the balls are good because they don't make any noise or damage anything! Shame the dogs are not the same.

Whilst tea was cooking I played out in the garden with dogs and the new toys met with approval. They get completely out of breath and Katie (the eldest) would probably keep going all night! Finlay is not as fit as Katie as he is not allowed off lead on walks - but he is enthusiastic and goes mad in the garden, however he soon runs out of steam!

I have also made use of the 'extra' photo facility - a shot of the waxing moon taken around the same time as we were playing.

EDIT - I have just seen the 1year ago photo - the day Finlay moved in - the pose looks familiar!
