Corvus corone

Another kitchen window view.  This time a carrion crow hopping along the top of the beech hedge hoping to espy some tasty morsel on the edge of the field next door.  They eat carrion, insects, worms, seeds, anything really!  Looking at the RSPB website, the crow has  1,000,000 breeding  territories in this country and quite a few are around here!
